To be able to hire one of our campervans please check that you can meet all of the following requirements, which are specified by our insurers.
1 You are aged between 23 and 75. If over 75 please contact us to see if we can arrange special insurance.
2 You have held a full UK driving licence for a minimum of two years.
3 You have not had your driving license suspended for any period within the last 3 years.
4 You have not been involved in more than one at fault incident within the last three years
5 You have no more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction.
6 You have not obtained any of the following motoring convictions: BA (Disqualified Driver Offences), DD (Reckless & Dangerous driving offences), or UT (Aggravated taking of a vehicle)
7 In addition to complying with all of the above, you will need to bring with you on the day of the hire:
7.1 A valid UK driving license for each driver
7.2 Proof of residency documents (2 utility bills dated within 3 months of the hire. More details will be provided in our welcoming email)
7.3 We ask that you pay the hire deposit with a debit or credit card and all other charges by bank transfer.
7.4 You will need to pay a security deposit of £750 being the damage excess payment, before we can release the vehicle to you. This will be returned to you immediately after the hire ends, provided no damage has been sustained during the hire period.
NB We carry out a detailed damage inspection with you prior to the hire, recording any existing damage on the damage report and we repeat the inspection when you return the vehicle to us.
